What data do we collect?
BridgeCom collects:
Personal information required to sell tickets and run the event
This is collected under the lawful basis of performance of a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b))
We collect names and email addresses, which are shared with our third party ticket platform Zero Waste Tickets.
Payment information, e.g. credit card number, is held our third party payment provider Stripe, we do not have access to this.
Contact details to organise specific parts of the event, and to contact volunteers
This is collected under the lawful basis of legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Personal identification information via google form (Name, email address, phone number, etc.). Participation in Discord or Signal whats.
Email addresses to inform people of future events
This is collected under the lawful basis of consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide us with the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Buy a ticket
- Add yourself or request to be added to the volunteer sign up form, signal group or Discord.
- Our website does not collect cookies.
How will we use your data?
We collect your data so that we can:
- Process your order and manage your account.
- Contact you about the event, before, during or after
- We may need to share your personal data with third parties to manage the security of the event.
How do we store your data?
We securely store your data on Zero Waste Tickets or Google drive, and if you have signed up to a Discord or Signal, here as well.
Marketing
We do not carry out any marketing, and we will not share your data for this purpose.
What are your data protection rights?
We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data held by us. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request we complete the information you believe is incomplete.
